Joe Bennett: I've only got good things to say about Cardiff
The former left-back, who is now at Wigan, has spoken about his time with the Bluebirds ahead of today's match.
"It's going to be a strange feeling, but I'm really looking forward to the game," Bennett said in the programme notes.
"I had the best spell of my career when I was at Cardiff and in my five years there, it was really successful for the most part.
"We got promoted to the Premier League and it was a dream come true for me, as it's the pinnacle of English football.
"It was a fantastic experience to test myself against the top teams and top players and even though we got relegated, it was a season I'll never forget.
"I can only say good things about Cardiff as a Football Club. Most of my children were brought up there and they treated me and my family really well.
"It will be a really tough game and one that we won't take lightly. While it'll be great for me and my family to catch up with some old friends, my full focus is on helping us get the three points that can hopefully start a good run of form at the DW."
