West Brom fans call for ex-Newcastle boss Steve Bruce to be sacked after Preston defeat leaves them 22nd
The Baggies have won just one of their opening 12 games in the Championship.

By George Bennett

West Brom supporters are calling for former Newcastle boss Steve Bruce to be sacked after a 1-0 defeat at Preston North End leaves them 22nd in the Championship.

Bruce took over the Baggies in February just four months after being sacked by Newcastle. Albion collected six wins from their final 17 Championship games last term to finish 10th place and eight points outside of the play-offs.

Their form has regressed further during the current campaign with a run of just one win from 12 games (D7 L4) leaving their Championship status in jeopardy.

West Brom have now gone eight games without a win across all competitions and supporters have taken to Twitter to urge the board to relieve Bruce of his duties immediately.

i reckon so.

Considering WBA are one of the biggest clubs in the Championship they should be top 6. When we played them they look toothless up front and because of that we got away with a few things. They have the squad but obviously the management plans are not working. Its reminding me of Forest last season where they look doomed only to get promoted after a change of management. This could quite easily happen to WBA.

The orchestrated how the fcuk do I get out of here with a payout.....Argue with fans

The messiah Warnock said the fans were no longer with him when very little was ever said at the games (he just realized he bought poorly and there was no record breaking promotion with that squad). If that doesn't work send out a team where half of them are donkey center halfs and complain you don't have anyone else.

Can West Brom even afford to sack him ? They have gone through a few bigger names recently

They could do with a good defender,A classy midfielder and some one who knows where the goal is and can bring other players into the game. :laughing6: :laughing6: :laughing6:

On paper they look a strong side so no excuses really.
