Pundit and former Crystal Palace striker Clinton Morrison has urged the Bluebirds to hire Mark Hudson on a full-time basis.
The former forward played with Hudson at Crystal Palace and is a close friend of the interim Cardiff manager.
And he believes, taking into account his friendship bias, Cardiff should appoint Hudson permanently, claiming he will get things "tactically spot on".
"He wants to win. He is definitely a winner," Morrison said on ITV's EFL Highlights show. "Huds is a great lad. He is one of those who you knew would be a coach. There are certain players you play with, they are busy, he is a very busy man.
"But he is busy but in a very good way. Tactically, he will get it spot on. He didn't play Harris, he brought him on and told him to make an impact. I think he'll do a good job.
"Mark Hudson, he is the interim, I'd give him the job. Not just because he's my mate, because he's a good coach and has done all the hard work to get there. We need to see more younger coaches in the game."

A good recommendation from someone that actually knows him and seen him work on the inside.
