CAN WE HAVE SOME POSITIVITY PLEASE !!!!

It seems that everybody on here wants to have a bash at the current Manager appointment position.

POSITIVES
Fact 1 - We have just undergone a major transformation of the playing squad which has resulted in a vast improvement on the previous year
Fact 2 - We have downsized our wage bill to fit the requirements of FFP (there are a lot of other clubs who are yet to do this and are heading towards being the next Derby Co)
Fact 3 - Hoofball is a thing of the past and a rather attractive version of the beautiful game is starting to immerge
Fact 4 - on the evidence so far our so-called "Rookie Manager" seems be getting a better tune from the team.
Fact 5 - We are just 3 points off the play-offs
Fact 6 - Experienced managers dont guarantee success - Wilder, Bruce to name but a few

NEGATIVES
Fact 1 - we need another striker

My version is that our cup is half Full not Half Empty

Basically you are correct in all you say .... unfortunately the hyarchy are not helping themselves when it comes to footballing matters.... a DOF would alleviate a lot of problems but not all! And I was a critic of Hudson after Saturday but must say he did change things to a more attacking style so theres hope going fowards that he can continue to get a tune out of what we have because this team is not that bad in fact look behond the negativity and you see a very good squad with lots of pace.

I am ready to give Mark Hudson a chance like any Cardiff City manager, I think the fans give the managers more of a chance than the hierarchy

But you can understand why there is so much negativity, a pattern seems to be emerging of manager after manager and all this planning for the future shit and looking to our younger players etc

It also seems the hierarchy are not looking what’s best for our club but who is the cheapest and who can keep saving us before we move on to the next one.

Yes the fans the other night even sang Hudsons name, it’s not the fans you’ve got to worry about, it’s above.

Also fans are disbelieving in how the club is run, crowds are falling and thousands of season ticket holders are not turning up.

In to Wigan away and the fans are behind Hudson and the players.

I think you'll find (quote you) "certain posters" celebrated their team scoring a great and deserved goal, which is about as positive as it gets; and then comes along Mr Negativity (that's you to avoid any doubt ) to try and knock the achievement back and it rebounded on you big time when a win indeed it was...!

You can/will paint it as you like and add a few twists as you suck up to a certain element on here, but you are a negative force with nothing but self-gratification on your mind

Lots of positivity on here but a few stand out and deliberate negativos trying to spill the apple cart...

Forever Blue makes some good points about the way the club appear to make their footballing decisions but come Saturday the majority of us will be behind our team and celebrating any goals we score without worrying what might lay ahead...

For me Hudson is still at the start line but the Blocs are looking good. Lets see how he handles the first hurdle.

As for our playing style, well we are still trying to find it. Playing from the back was not really working but winning it in midfield looks a lot better for us.

As for an experienced manager, well it worked for us last time we were in this position....Warnock.

I look forward to going to matches now more than I’ve done for years.
There’s still a lot to do but the improvements in playing style and cost cutting have been great.

Of course there will always be moaners and trolls like ‘something blue’ and a few others and there will always be a few constantly sniding and blaming Tan for everything.

When we beat Bournemouth and got in the playoffs under McCarthy it really seemed like we were gonna get close. Sadly the players were fragged.

Having so far only read the thread title, I fully agree with these six words! (7 if we include the exclamation marks).

If the 300 or 400 regular users of both boards were more positive, then the City would likely attract bigger attendances. If I was a newbie to Cardiff looking for a team to support, think I’d be put off going to the Cardiff City Stadium because of all the pessimism and derogatory comments on both boards about our side whom we all should praise if we want the team to do well.

The same would be true of less serious fans thinking about trying the club again- perhaps following an absence.

There is too much “washing our dirty linen in public” on the two boards. Members of each are equally sarcastic and scathing. It puts people off the club apart from those who relish arguments, hostility and generally being nasty to each other.

Not sure which is the biggest whopper. That the negativity of a few amongst 300 fans on a forum affect our attendances, Tan really said GK should score, Tan picks the team or that McCarthy was a good manager.
