Lee Tomlin today announced his retirement from football:
Lee Tomlin so talented, but what a waste of a talent.
Could not settle at clubs and had some big pay days.

Showed in that purple patch what he was capable of and that assist at Leeds will go down in folklore. Almost single handedly got us to the playoffs.
That being said what an absolute drain on our resources overall.

Loved watching his couple of cameos for us but for what we were paying he was a waste of money.
Sad really as if you had the brain of say, Joe Ralls in him he’d be a hell of a player.

He technically retired the day he signed his second contract for us...
An absolute disgrace to his profession and as alluded above, a massive drain on our club's resources
And worse of all, like Keiffer when his head was turned, he simply didn't appear to care...

He pretty much retired 3 years ago..complete and utter waste of talent
At least he won’t be able to steal a living from any other club. He took the piss out of us fans by his total lack of professionalism and got paid a huge amount of our money to sit on his fat arse
Good riddance!!!

Lazy so and so wasted his career, he'll look like Razor Ruddock in ten years.

We will always have that majestic 2019/20 season to remember him by. All the best LT!

i remember when we signed him, i was against it, said he had too many issues and would ultimately get himself fit pre-season, pick up a knock within the first few weeks, return over weight. however i am still glad we signed him, as football is all about moments and he gave us a few, 2-2 against Reading after being 2-0 down, his lovely ball through against Bristol City.
i just wish he had sorted himself out so we could of seen some more.
crazy to think, he reminded me of Koumas, the man hated football. only played it to make money as a career. but was magic, Tomlin, says he loves football, but didnt put the effort in.

Was great for us when he was on the pitch. Seemed to spend more time on the p1ss or down the chippy though.
Complete and utter waste of a talent other players would love to have. Hope he makes something of the rest of career now - another city leg that could have done a lot more.

Appeared to be very mentally weak sadly
I Enjoyed his purple patch for us though and like everyone says, on his day was quality
