Bluebirds goalkeeper Ryan Allsop believes there is more to c

Bluebirds goalkeeper Ryan Allsop believes there is more to come from this squad and accepts players need to be better on the ball if they are to improve in the attacking areas of the pitch.

Cardiff showed fight and a unity to come back to earn a draw against one of the league favourites, Burnley, thanks to Callum Robinson's goal, and Allsop knows City can get better moving forward.

“It was a really tough point," Allsop said. "I think that they’re a really good team, as we saw today and previously from the homework we’d done on them.

“We were a bit disappointed to go behind in the first place, to be honest. In terms of character and fight from the lads, it was unbelievable to come back and get a point. It was hard earned.

“They’re a team that likes the ball. It’s something that we’ve tried to do this season as well. I think sometimes that we needed to be a bit better on the ball, to get control of the game. But in terms of spirit our togetherness showed in abundance today, to get a draw against arguably one of the best teams in the league.

“It's difficult. A lot of new faces in the building and people getting to know one another. The bonding we did at Edinburgh, we did one last week as well. We have done things to let the lads get to know each other on a personal level. There's a lot more to come from this group."

There is a lot to come but unfortunately the manager doesn't want to bring it out of players... we have very pacey players who bomb upfield but they wont or cant put ball into penalty area! When do manage it the ball is aimless or hits defender... get it right and we scored only need to do it more often.
