Sacked by Boro, thought he’d do well there
After just 11 games this season:

And Chris Wilder turned Cardiff down to take the job at Boro , I don’t want him as much as I did now as Boro have a great Chairman and Wilder has failed quite badly. Wilder would though in my opinion do a lot better than the Hudson and Co. But we still probably could not afford him anyway.

Hmmmm, interesting one.
Many on here, including me, wanted him to replace McCarthy.
Now that he’s got a failure on his CV does that make him a bad manager ?
I’m not sure how I feel about it but he has to come into the frame now as, surely, he’ll be cheaper ?

Its a big NO from me
anyone who turns there nose up at a club especially cardiff has not got any conection to the club
whatever circumstances there may have been
A bit like paul ince
mr england he would' nt have been seen dead at cardiff a welsh club we need a warnock type of manager for his passion for the club fans and city not so much for his type of football though.thats why i atill thunk natham jones would be a good appointment .

Just goes to show you are not guaranteed success by hiring a so called highly experienced manager, He spent loads of money and got them f**k all. I remember many on here were creaming their pants at the thought of this guy managing us when he was available, looks like we dodged a bullet.

It's how you get the players at your disposal to play and buy into what style you want them to play..... bang ordinary dide like Luton and huddersfield last season showed what can be achieved in this way.
