STRIKER: plain and simple that Harris and Watters are a shambles couldn’t hit a barn door
We could have won that game today if that useless Watters had composed himself and slotted it in from no more than 3 yards
This team in fairness are hard working but no one can finish that’s why the morale goes down with sheer frustration , need a loan striker in immediately
We really got out of jail today in a game we could have been leading at half time ,

Harris seems to wait too long for the ball to come to him, and unfortunately doesnt the read the game well - from what I saw today.
Watters - Is probably the other way around he can get into those positions but just cant finish it off.

It's obvious we need to change it up front for a bit and see how it goes - Id rather have Callum Patterson back

Was Watters chance really that simple? You could see he wanted to hit it but it didn't drop!

Robinson had plenty more chances. Could've had a hatrick. Just shooooot!!!

Put the ball in the box! We did it once perfectly and got a goal.. having a go at watters or Harris is missing the point really, what I saw today was precisely the same under morison get to edge penalty area and we either stop or put in balls to no one.... that as got to change but suspect it wont as hudson as seen this previously and does same.

Robinson got one and another smacked a defender.

In fairness to watters and will probably get battered for this but his movement off the ball was good when he came on. Certainly moved defenders around more than Harris did today.

I agree 100% and I said almost the same in the match thread, the same problem whenever we get to the final third of the pitch. We slow down & give the opposition time to regroup and 9 times out of 10 we lose the ball as well as the impetus.

No it wasn't that simple... he was on 10mins what did the others do in 80mins? Wasnt there fault but just another typical city performance solid but lack the knowledge of how to put ball in area or put a decent cross in... did that just once today and we score surely that should tell Hudson what he needs to tell players.

The Watters chance wasn’t easy but he absolutely should have done better. He didn’t get his body in the right position to protect the ball and didn’t make any sort of decent connection.

He simply isn’t good enough at this level.

Put it this way, that chance falls to Robinson and the very least he would have done would be test the keeper and very likely he’d put it in.

Several times during game Robinson had similar opportunities and didnt score or get shot off... he had 90mins to do it in watters had 10mins or so in a team that couldn't hit barn door when it comes to crosses except for last one...... so begs question
why cant players do it when get opportunity
instead of playing backwards? Mind you watters wouldn't have scored with that cross that's for sure.

I thought we'd won when Watters went through.Should have known better.

It was indeed a difficult chance. Robinson didn’t have a chance as good as that. He had a front post header (half chance) that went narrowly wide and another shot blocked by a defender.
CR is light years ahead of MW in terms of ability required at this level.

Watters may be a better player than he is showing but at no time did i have any confidence in his ability to finish the chance which is his primary role.

His confidence is shattered he never looks comfortable on the field, it's just not happening for him and he knows it, he runs like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders.

Watters is only 23 and can learn alot from Robinson. Remember hes never had a chance to train and learn from someone like that.
I get why people are frustrated and given up on him but to me watching the runs he makes off the ball there is a striker there. Wether he can learn and flourish is up to him really
