A forum for all things Cardiff City

He’s covering the wales game and they did ask what happened at Cardiff and why he was sacked.
He answered by saying at the end of the day it’s a results business but he was shocked he believes he has changed the club for the better lowered the wage bill, got rid of players, changed the style of play. He said he had some bad luck losing Collins and was after a striker all summer finally got one bad one week or so to work with him and was sacked after that game.
Said we were a pen away from getting something from Huddersfield which would have been 4 points from 2 away games. He said he will learn from it and wants to get straight back into management.

Good luck to him..
He must be gutted to lose a job at a club which is bigger
than Barcelona.

He is probably as aware as we are that majority of fans we’re against his sacking .

Puts to bed that there may have been more to it, and I was hanging on to that thought to try and make sense of it all.
Unless Tan, Dalman and Choo can come out with a very good reason why 10 games in to a season they have sacked him then any remaining confidence fans had in them (not a lot) has gone completely now.
Morison conducted himself well here and has made them look right idiots, which is seemingly exactly what they are.
The next appointment needs to be right and it needs not to just be a cheap option, they have set us back again and need to put it right. Either that or get out of the club and that is the first time I have said that.
