Hudson still bookies' favourite

Despite recent reports, there has been little change in the bookies' favourites for the top job.

Vincent Tan is set to give Mark Hudson at least three games, starting when you Burnley home.

Mark Hudson and Tom Ramasut are currently taking training for the first time since Steve Morison's departure.

Cardiff City players reported back to the Vale this morning after being given all five days off since the Huddersfield defeat.

All very uninspiring if, like me, you remove the likes of Nathan Jones on grounds we are not likely to pay for a new manager

Like to see Jody Morris given a chance, got decent contacts and wanted to prove himself as a manager. Just like how Potter/Cooper started

Sean Dyche for me, Tan wont allow as he wont bow to his control

Not way forward... got to be someone whose done a bit with limited resources like Jones did last season...

Two homes, both winnable and Wigan away could get at least a draw.

Caretaker Manager Mark Hudson:

Sat Oct 1 – Burnley (H)

Tue Oct 4 – Blackburn Rovers (H) Live on Sky 8pm

Sat Oct 8 – Wigan Athletic (A)

Totally agree Annis
Hudson is not the answer

I can see a long winter of discontent and in my opinion this is the year we are going down unless things change very quickly - Week Saturday Burnley - the slide will continue

We can not afford to go any more backwards.

So if Hudson wins these games, the circus / merry go round continues for another year.

I can see us beating Burnley & we have the jacks around the corner

My opinion is Hudson will not be manager at Xmas

Are the club actually looking for a new manager at the moment?

Are they interviewing potential candidates or are they just sitting on their hands doing nothing hoping and praying that Hudson can somehow cobble together a result or two and save them having to do their job and appoint a proper manager?

Also of course it'll save them money if Hudson stays in the same way that employing Morison saved them after sacking Mick.

Surely they should have already got somebody lined up who can start straight away if Hudson loses all three games?

Or will there be a further delay after that whist they then start the process of looking for somebody which they should be doing now?

I'm afraid I have little faith in them doing things properly - if they did it would be completely out of character.
