So I switched my tv on to see that sky sports is full of this queen nonsense!!!!!!!!!!

Surely a refund is due? A sports channel not showing sports …. What ever will they try brainwash people with next.

Whole threads have been made about Boris and Drakeford and debated about on here by City fans dislike for them.
So why the Queen should be off topic unless 'pro' comments are made is strange to me.
And although his outburst are not explained rationally.
He does have a point.
It is forced on most media channels.
And those that speak out are jumped on and ridiculed.

Considering it is on most media channels.
The guy had switched to sky sports to escape it.
Only to find it on there too.
And considering sky have their sky news channel that can cover this.
It is not only unnecessary but leaves another channel that he feels he is bombarded with it yet again.
Hence maybe his frustration.

Thing is there was never going to be any significant sports news yesterday. It would all have been moved to today or Sunday.

I'm not surprised that they focused on the state funeral.

People could watch their usual streaming services or go to the pub if they didn't want to take part in the day's events.

It was for one day and things are more or less back to normal now.

I am a mild republican but i can handle it once every 70 years

Like the coppers, i guess all the national media outlets had all their staff all over the place, and the best use of the resource was to scale back other coverage.
