Once again the cheap and easy option as the same old pattern continues:
UPDATED: TUESDAY 20TH SEPTEMBER 2022
Bluebirds owner Vincent Tan will give interim boss Hudson the chance to impress, with the first week after the international break already suggested as potentially pivotal in his bid to land the role on a permanent basis.
Mark Hudson will be given these three games and it will taken from there.
Cardiff play Burnley, Blackburn and Wigan in the space of seven days at the start of October, and a positive return of results could leave Hudson well placed to win the nod from Tan.
Hudson is currently the favourite with the bookies, but Cardiff are understood to be keeping tabs on other options, including fans' favourite Bamba.
I’m hearing that the CCFC board are going to give Mark Hudson a chance to prove himself to them.
He’s cheap, but knows all the players well.
Season after season a pattern is emerging.
For me we need an experienced manager and a quality striker and we could do well this season.

If this is true then it points to there being a problem with Morison the individual rather than the direction he was taking us in.
I’m enjoying this journey, despite it’s ups and downs, so if Hudson is able to continue to improve us I’m happy with that unless there is a real possibility of getting somebody like Dyche (that ain’t going to happen !!).

Big massive mistake if true IMHO, but by the standards of club, totally believable.
So then, what happens when this appointment doesn't work out...... promote Daren Purse?

Annis I have been told we have a shortlist of managers, and are adding to that list.
Unless Hudson wins lots of games he is only ever going to be a temporary appointment!

I can go along with this, give him a chance, my only worry is that he was responsible for the defence which didn’t exactly set the world alight. I would add get Morrison and Sol Bambi brought into the coaching set up and see how it works, otherwise we are going to go into a long drawn out search for a new guy.

Wrong choice if true onto league 1 next season . Another shocking move by Tan and Dalman . They couldn’t give a flying f**k about CCFC or us fans .

It just shows that the sources aren’t as they once were with conflicting information coming out.
We all know it will be Hudson temporary but if he wins a couple it will be Hudson permanent.
We will not get an employed manager nor is there a desire to do so which is why he had SM initially.

If true then perhaps Hudson himsel called him out if there was a kick off he's no shrinking violet

Roger,
The same with any caretaker manager, but he has been told to go out and prove he is capable of keeping the job.

no suprise there

No idea if the Hudson rumour is true but what I do know is whoever takes over is inheriting a decent team
Someone needs to come in and get it to gell and tactically coach it better
If they do that we will have a good season

Hudson also a Snake ( won’t be surprised he’s the one who stuck knife in Morrison Back ) with Tan

I would get proof of what you accuse people of before opening your mouth. Mark Hudson knows the players and being an X Bluebird is a good choice. A person who would be popular with the players and fans alike. I Feel Morison was his own worst enemy. Being arrogant and out spoken is OK but you have to draw a line I'm afraid he over stepped the mark one to often. We have a group of players good enough to compete in this league and do well if well managed. I feel Morison upset to many players with his attitude A Great shock he was sacked yet not a big surprise. Lets give Mark Hudson our backing and hope he can take the team forward.

So after sacking Morison the new manager who is going to be appointed to a club that needs an experienced manager, who has previous demonstrable experience of doing the jopb asked of him.
And it seems they are going tyo giove this to someone who has no experience as a manager whatsoever, someone who has never been a manager (to my knowledge) and therefor we have no idea if this person can actually do the job. I dont know of any otyher business that would do that.
Good luck to Hudson if he gets it and hope he does great, personally I can see this being another Trollope appointment - but probably even less successful....hope Im wrong

This does not surprise me at all.
Hudson is a crowd favourite and everyone will be wanting him to do well and will get behind him from the start. Will it work? I'm not so sure.

Who brought hudson in morrison or cardiff board.
We just seem to be bouncing along again another stint by an unknown granted its a stop gap but why get rid without ha ing someone in olace must have a recent bust up to be sacked on the spot without replacment so on we go all up in the air shocking way to run a football club.

Sadly, that's the same line publicised after McCarthy went, Rog and we ended up (most of us thought rightly at the time) with Sean Morison from within
Clearly there has been a fall out within the corridors of power at the club and a moment of reflection just might be the order of the day; unless they have a 'preferred' candidate waiting in the wings already...?

Goes against the grain, I know, but I think Tan 'cares' about the club and its direction. In my eyes, he supported his manager in the summer but for whatever reason, he feels the timing was right to press the button...
Only time will tell on that one...
Dalman, the politician, is a different kettle of fish. He is out for no one but himself and his decision making is centred around self-interest and deflection of blame...

I can’t see Hudson being told anything else other than we’ll see how you go tbh. It’s hardly good for motivation to say to him ‘How ever well you do, you won’t be getting it’.

What are you basing this on or are you guessing ?

This is quite obvious what was going to happen,No2 steps in to cover until a successor is appointed. If the right person(Dyche for example) wanted the job Hudson would be gone if the new man wanted his own backroom staff.
On the other hand if we can’t find a suitable replacement Hudson is our man.

Absolutely nothing other than a common sense guess. Surely a carrot has to be dangled for Hudson otherwise what’s the point in him bothering over the next few games.

If you're the toilet cleaner at CCFC hang around long enough and you'll get your chance!

Are there any more ex-Millwall strikers looking for a job?

Perhaps the thought is that they give the job to Hudson until Cooper is inevitably sacked at Forest and then go for Cooper.
