Nathan Jones

Experienced, done well, Cardiff through and through. Even said that when he played against us. Will demand 100%. A no brainer.

It's a no brainer for Jones. He'd be very unwise to leave Luton again now.

Cardiff a much bigger club and he’s a hometown boy. He would jump at the chance.

Could he manage the pressure of expectation here in a way that he couldn't do when he was at Stoke?

Both those things are true but he quit Luton for a bigger club once and was very lucky they welcomed him back so warmly. If he fails at Cardiff he'll struggle to get another post at Championship level.
There is another hometown boy who I believe would be an exciting appointment; Craig Bellamy.

Given the choice between Bellamy or Jones it's an absolute no brainer

As for jones, how much farther than he realistically take Luton might well be on his mind. I'm not worried about what happened at Stoke and he would be a great appointment, but unlikely

Luton would want lots of compensation considering he has taken them to verge of PL last season.

Plus in all the times we have played Luton I've never been that impressed by their style.

Dyche would be my first choice but that's never going to happen.

Jones would be my second choice. Unfortunately he has years left on his contract and will probably cost millions to release him from that, unless he has a clause.

Bellamy doesn’t have the calmness to be a manager for a start.
