YET AGAIN DARREN PURSES SIDE CONCEDE 5 GOALS WITH A STRONG U21’S SIDE / BUT THE GOOD NEWS STRIKER CROLE SCORES 2 GOALS FOR THE BLUEBIRDS.

Since Purse took over half way through last season the U 21’s / U23’s have struggled.

Cardiff have now conceded 10 goals in last 2 games.




Can Cardiff City’s U21’s comeback from their mauling by Bristol City’s U 21’s ( 5 nil ) and put QPR’S U21’s to the sword tonight.

it showed tonight why the players we signed from other clubs were not retained by them, Benjiman in particular had a poor night, but he was up against a very good centre forward Antwl and Conte were non existent, coaching of these youngsters is in my opinion not up to the level required to bring the youngsters on, young Colwill seems to have not improved these last few weeks and like his elder brother takes too long to think of where to make a pass, could end up with a very talented player not making the grade.

On the plus side tonight there were good performances from the subs Ashford and Hughes who scored with a free kick that Whitts would have been proud of, and of course Crole who despite the poor service to him scored two goals and was not afraid to mouth off at the defence for the way they were performing
Unfortunately I can see a lot more defeats in the following months, the squad has too many youngsters and as previously said not got the coaching expertise that would improve their performances.
