They could well have a bounce now Danny Schofield after only 9 games. Shocking to think they finished 3rd last season and lost to Forest in the play offs. No easy games though despite their position but if we can put in a performance like we did last night and address our defensive issues we should be OK. These soft goals have been a concern for a while but at least we appear to have ended our goal scoring drought.

New Terriers boss in warning to Cardiff
Huddersfield Town's caretaker coach Narcis Pelach has warned that Cardiff City will be taking on "20,000" people when the two sides meet at the John Smith's Stadium on Saturday.
The Terriers welcome Steve Morison's side this weekend having dismissed head coach Danny Schofield earlier in the week, with Pelach set to take interim charge alongside Paul Harsley and Paul Clement.
“I understand the player frustration because they’re not getting the results they want," he said in his press conference ahead of the visit of the Bluebirds. "But we have to look at our body language and be careful of the things we do – we have to be different tomorrow.
“I have known these players for a long time now and they are fighters, very good players, and very good people.
“It’s easy to think about the negatives when you’re not winning but we have to look at the positives because there are a lot of those too.

I'll be there with our other 1000. So I make that 20 to 1. No problem.

Huddersfield duo Matty Pearson and Tyreece Simpson are the club's only two injury concerns as they continue their recovery from respective foot and knee problems.
There could yet be some shuffling of the pack, however, with the Terriers dismissing Danny Schofield earlier in the week.

- Huddersfield 1-0 Cardiff
Cardiff undone.
Anjorin weaves his way through the Cardiff defence before feeding Holmes, who then tees up Jordan Rhodes on the edge of the area, and his low drive gives Allsop no chance.
Sat Sep 17, 2022 2:21 pm
Robinson works some space on the edge of the d before letting fly.
Just over.

Huddersfield win another throw deep inside the Cardiff half.
Launched towards the near post but Kipre heads clear.
Sat Sep 17, 2022 2:37 pm
That's a bit more like it.
Wintle plays a wonderful ball in for Robinson, who does brilliantly to beat the offisde trap.
His touch is poor, though, and Nicholls gathers.
Meanwhile, Rudoni is down after a heavy challenge.
Sat Sep 17, 2022 2:39 pm
Robinson's pressure on the byline wins a throw.
Nkounkou goes short before trying to get round his man.
Gets the cross all wrong and Huddersfield put it out for another throw.
Eventually O'Dowda can't control and it's a goal kick.
Sat Sep 17, 2022 2:41 pm
Wintle tries to deliver a ball into the far post from the right, but it lands on the roof of the net.
Sat Sep 17, 2022 2:43 pm
Very pedestrian no urgency either... they are not that good..
Sat Sep 17, 2022 2:46 pm
We've played this first half just like we played the second on Tuesday.
