O'Dowda again for me. Kept the best right back in the league quiet all game then when he went off Jones ran riot and we nearly blew a 3 goal lead.

I've gone for Callum Robinson; a great full debut and he allowed otgers to prosper up front

A great pass for tge opening goal and we suffered when he went off :ayatollah:

A tricky choice as there were 1/2 a dozen that played well. But I have to go for Kipre. He was vital towards the end and I lost count of the headers he made.Special mention for Ng and THAT goal.
Please don’t put Nkounkou on when we need to defend a lead. All their threat was down his flank and he was dreadful. I think he is more of a left attack, rather than defence!

Spot on. O'Dowda goes off and Boro run riot.

Gone for Simpson just for that block.

Went for Robinson too. Two assists and his tracking back and helping out in defence was testament to the amount of work that he put in for us tonight.

Ojo did next to nothing as his replacement although granted, he had very little played forward to him, but it would have been nice to see him track back a little more, unless he was instructed not to in order to hit them on the break.

Again, Colwill wasn't great when given his cameo either, seems a yard of pace short of a very good player to me? A few passes around him from the Middlesborough defence could have been intercepted with a little more mobility.

Colwill makes Tomlin look athletic

Went for Simpson by a hair from Robinson, for no other reason than his block towards the end.

Would t argue with that at all though I went for Simpson who I thought played with the attitude of ‘I’m not giving up my shirt for anyone!’
