Anyone watching the German football?

Sat Sep 10, 2022 5:19 pm

If this is what we are trying to do then we are playing at half speed.

Shalke move the ball forward very quickly, with lots of percentage balls, nothing aimless like Micks days

good viewing, both goalies are dodgy though.

I can see why Bobby Glatzel scored loads of goals they try to get the ball into the box quicker than we ever did !!

Yes. And I enjoyed it too. Cheers Llan, as otherwise I would have missed it, a welcome football fix.

I watched most of it. They make our atmospheres over here compared to a bingo Hall. Proper rocking in the stands the whole game :ayatollah:

FC Union Berlin has an amazing atmosphere, a great club too, their fans built their own stadium.

Can't watch German football. Watched it when it was the first TV league to return after Covid.

Found it boring, slow albeit with a good atmosphere.

However, watched a few La Liga games over the weekend and enjoyed it. Other than the Premier League and arguably Championship, one of the more entertaining leagues.

Serie A is on the rise too, getting stronger. Watched some good games recently. Lazio v Napoli had Premier league pace to it, good football aswell.
