‘’ Cardiff’s worst position in 18 years / BUT ‘

Mon Sep 05, 2022 9:17 pm

Cardiff tonight went in to the bottom 3 of the Championship

But Cardiff’s home game v Hull City on Saturday is a must win to get out of this position before they get properly stuck down there.

It’s a must win, so let’s see 20,000 fans on Saturday to support Steve Morison and the team.

Psychologically I hate being bottom 3 but the reality is we are only in by one goal, 3 points from 12th and 5 points from the play offs. It's still very early to judge the table. However, I agree Saturday is massive now and maybe even make or break for Morison. Lose and we are in free fall and it's hard to recover. Can he get his team to rise to the occasion? Hmm.

Wez Only if we win by bucket load and most teams above us lose! Still early days but cannot afford to lose Saturday if only to keep up with the pack

What's this fascination with crowd size , Forever blue ? Crowds follow success !
When we were in the EPL we had 30k on average . The only way crowds come back is to follow a winning side .
A win Saturday in front of 2 men and a dog will do me .

I’m not overly concerned because, in general, the play has been very good but agree that we need to start getting some points/results more for team confidence and to maintain some positivity with the supporters !

There is no doubt we have progressed since last season but we need to see a few wins over the next batch of games.

Personally I am pretty optimistic now we have a decent striker in place but the longer we go without getting points/goals, the more the pressure builds which isn’t helpful.

Weren't we in the bottom three when Trollope got sacked after a dreadful performance in the rain at Burton? I remember Zahore throwing his shirt to a fan at the end and he threw it back!!

The only chance we will get 20k is if Hull bring 3k.We have about 15-19k fan base that just isn’t there for the winning teams.
Never nice being in relagation zone but it’s 8 games gone and not 8 to go.
Injuries and confidence have affected lately but things will turn round sure.

We have got to get behind the team and manager Saturday to bring home the points :bluescarf:
2-1 To The Blooobirds (Robinson Watters) Att 17,638.

No chance of 20,000 crowd on Saturday.
We have dropped around 1,000 fans each game during the first 3 home league games.
I can see this pattern continuing until we start scoring goals and winning.
Fans are getting frustrated and increasingly pessimistic.
16,000 to 17,000 at the most!

Other than the Swansea match, I can't see us getting in excess of 20,000 unless we are in the top ten.

Well fans wanted good football and they’ve got it and were on such a high for all these 17 new players and have their new striker, so really I can’t see why not if this is what they all wanted.
