Perry Ng

A good player.

Comfortable on the ball. Distributes the ball well. Reads the game well.

Tackling is okay and makes some vital blocks.

Never a centre half though. Unfortunately no matter how hard he may train he's never going to add the six inches he needs to be a central defender.

Yet again we concede easily from a set piece with Perry being out jumped by a taller opposition player. If the ball coming into the box in the air bypasses Kipre we're in big trouble. We've gone from a team of six foot plus giants to a team of midgets that are in big trouble every time the ball comes into the area in the air and the goalie seems a little reluctant to come off his line.

We need to look at playing Ng elsewhere and get Simpson into the team or we are going to continue leaking goals from set pieces whilst being absolutely no threat ourselves from attacking set pieces,

Set pieces morison seems to accept we wont score due t the size of our players so only puts minimal players in area towards end we had corner with 4 players within penalty area!! And that as not been uncommon this season ... and to defend corners we have 11 men in area so hard to break out with no one far enough forward
to get any clearances very odd tactics generally.

Never a center half in a 442. Gets away with it in a 3 at the back, just.

I don't even think he is better than Romeo at RB

Called out NG being a CB even when we had a couple wins. Just doesn’t look right there and was never impressed last season. Wouldn’t be CB at most other clubs this level

I’ve said this from the very first game he played there. I just do not feel comfortable with him at cb I’m sorry.

Thank god some people are on the same page as I was an alien for dismissing him as a CB because we beat Norwich. Not a CB and makes us very weak at the back would prefer mcguinness there
