He would do well in div 2 and conference tbh :bluescarf:

That mean we have someone else lined up to come in as well?

Re: Sounds like a Watters loan

Barry Town looking for a squad member

Can't see this happening unless we're bringing in another striker as well as Robinson.

I hope wherever he goes that his teammates pass the ball to him rather than over him and that he scores a load of goals. The distain being thrown at one of our players around here is ridiculous and I for one will wish him well wherever he goes.

Going by his shooting accuracy he may 'miss' the deadline

To be Fair to Watters, he gets some shite balls or no balls at all to deal with. Is it the players not trusting him?
Harris more industrious but cows arse and banjo come to mind... Must be wearing Turkish slippers!! But, Watters could be decent with a fresh start. Been through the mill here.

Good luck Max. We all want you to do well, we are just fckin frustrated!!!

There is no shame in finding out you can not make the next step up

Whitts was probably the best multi season championship player and ran games, but in the premier league in a struggling team he couldn't have the same impact.

He doesn't make the runs of a championship striker, we'll see what Callum Robertson does with the same midfield.

League 1 or 2 is about his level I think, can’t fault his effort but he’s just not good enough

Re: Sounds like a Watters loan

Let's face it, championship is not his level ,he looks lost ,not his fault he just ain't good enough for it .

Spot on mate, the abuse some of our OWN players get is disgraceful.

It’s not abuse… Christ what a snowflake world we live in. It’s criticism of a well paid professional which comes with the territory. And one can hardly argue the criticism isn’t fair as despite the argument he doesn’t get the service, he has missed so many good chances to dispell that theory

Have you been to the games? Both have received abuse from the stands. At the Preston game, a group of fans were booing watters when his name was announced before kickoff. They then spent the rest of the game screaming all sorts at him.

Yep, been at every game.

Not heard booing but I have heard moans and groans after the latest miss.

Nothing out of order.

Shouting at players from the stands whatever next!? Criticism (and loud criticism at that) is not abuse.

Just because you haven't heard doesn't mean its not happening. There's a difference between moaning at a player, and screaming he's f*cking shit, and to get the c**t off every time he touches the ball.

No audible boos when he gets subbed in virtually every game though ?

I can assure you I ain't no snowflake pal, look when they pull on a City shirt I support them OK.
There is no need to boo any of our players but hey-ho this is Cardiff it's always has a scapegoat.
If you Don't hear the abuse are you one of these pissed up dudes who just moan all f*cking game?

Re: Sounds like a Watters loan

The moaning that occurs at Cardiff is no different to that at any club… I’d even argue that managers and players are respected far more than at some clubs who ‘voice’ their disapproval’s more fervently than us. Watters is being criticised and that criticism has increased because he has demonstrated inability to finish chances which could have made games more comfortable or in deed likely cost us points. A good finisher would be on 4 goals this season already as a minimum if given the same chances. He just looks awkward and stiff and never where he needs to be. I for one will be relieved that he will hopefully no longer be the focal point up front (although I wouldn’t be surprised if he started on Saturday)

Must be honest, I've been to every game and haven't heard booing, not to say it hasn't happened.

I don't think he's good enough but what kind of person boos or shouts abuse at our own player? I find that really immature.

Yes criticise them but personal abuse is ridiculous.

Anyway, Watters is staying so let's hope he can find the net and put this to rest.

No, probably because the majority of fans can see the effort he puts in and get behind him, even if they know we need better.

Still doesn't change the fact hes getting verbal abuse, not just critiscm from the stands though. I was sat in the 3rd row from the front in the Grandstand and could hear the abuse clear as day from towards the back. If I could hear it, I'd imagine the players can as well. Not sure why people are trying to justify our own fans verbally abusing our own players.
