The fact he’s on the bench tonight tells me it’s going nowhere. I hope I’m wrong of course, but I can’t see it.

I think we need 2 strikers who would compliment each other up front rather than play as individuals with the wide players we have been using. ( I don't dislike Watters but I feel he is too isolated)
Watters is not the only mis-firing forward. Other offensive players have been mis-firing and are equally to blame, as well as they may be performing in general.
Perhaps we need more fire power than the one striker would provide in the current team line up.
I just hope whoever arrives can form some kind of strike partnership up front so maybe the system needs to change slightly.
Use one natural winger with two strikers.

He’s had a few appearances for Villa so far this season so I personally can’t see them sending him out anywhere. Would be a very good signing if we did get him though.

There's something in there about transfers between Welsh and English clubs falling under the original rule

Either way , 3 or 4 wouldn't stop us getting archer

I must apologize, I was wrong, I have been looking on the EFL site and it does not specifically say only one player from the same club, the premier site does. So if it was applying to the EFL they would have said it.
