Agreed, Harris didn't play fantastically last night and I don't think he is a striker but I do think is a useful squad player. I find he is better off the bench playing on the wings.

I thought Harris was decent yesterday, linked up well. Not a striker, but kept out attacking movies going. He was by far from the problem yesterday.

Totally totally wrong to boo or abuse our own players.
Harris is not good enough, but he gives 110% every time.

Harris was woeful....crossing, position play in box, couldnt hold ball enough. I thought watters looked better as a striker.

Hopefully a new striker will be soon

Probably not (although with the amount of fixtures we have coming he'd get some starts) but I'd always have on the bench as he does offer something different and can play a few positions.

That said,, how and why is he in the first team??? Out of his depth.

It's actually not fair on Harris or Watters, they shouldn't be in the team. They won't even pass to Watters!!

How demoralising is that for a player..

Fans knew we needed quality up front at the end of last season.....

I like Harris. I hope he manages to push through all this.

I like Harris as he does give 100% and feel that with a decent striker partner , he will improve…..nota popular view and I accept he’s had a lot of chances but am willing to give another chance at this level

I thought he played well until he had to play centrally. He is a wide forward at championship level who works hard and can be a handful. He doesn't have the x factor of genuine strikers, but he is a level above Watters IMO.

Never should one of ours ever be abused.

I don't rate him but he always gives his all.

Fans are entitled to their opinions but of order to boo him.

I’d never boo our own players but he doesn’t belong at this level in his current position. Maybe he needs to find himself a new position or a new club. Might sound a bit silly but would he be useful as a wing back option maybe? He will run all game in all fairness.

Agree with the OT. Harris isn’t quite good enough but I cant fault his work rate. I thought he had a decent first half.
I don’t think Watters deserves abuse either. That said, he was poor last night and I think he had 9 or10 touches in an hour! Roger Johnson said “he has pace to burn” and “Works his butt off” but “unfortunately he will judged on goals scored.” Sory I don’t see it!!!!
On almost any criteria MW has not suceeded.
Clinical finishes - poor
Setting up others/assists - poor
Heading ability (hardly ever wins a header - poor
Closing down/ tackling/ effort - poor to average
Even holding up the ball and passing he is, at best, average.
That isn’t meant as abuse just facts as I see it. He has his ‘level’ but, sadly, that is not the Championship!

That said Mark Harris was dreadful last night and shouldn't be a starter. There may be a place for him adding legs off the bench but he's never going to be a championship starter. IMHO he should have gone off before Watters.

I never boo the team and I've never left a game early.

If I'm unhappy with the performance I just don't clap them at the end of the game.
