Blatantly obvious what is needed and even more blatantly obvious that we do not have the funds to get in even a moderately better striker.

For me, it’s not even just about having a new striker in. Don’t get me wrong, we clearly need one, but it’s about our effectiveness in the final third; bodies in the box, capitalising on those crosses, making a darting run to the near post, being in the six yard box to poach a goal…getting more than one person available.

Tonight and Saturday we were limited to just having shots outside the box. We don’t seem to care as te an opportunity on those tight spaces where it matters.

Elsewhere on the pitch we’re happy to play in tight spaces (especially defence, almost to our peril!!), but we need to be comfortable doing that up the other end too.

Every game the same, we really miss a Striker obviuosly but also a Harry Wilson and a Dramah!
