No-one said you can't have am opinion. No-one said you can't express an opinion. No-one said you can't criticise a player.

The only point being made was that fans should be able to defend a player as well as constantly criticising a player.

May I humbly suggest you draw a line under this debate rather than continually raking up previous comments in an attempt to further divide the fanbase.

As far as the t-shirts go, people are fully entitled to wear them, but how refreshing it would be if they were selling 'I'm backing Watters' t-shirts instead.

I could see this humour in some circumstances; but here we have someone (possibly not a Bluebird) trying to profit from Watters barren run and it is more 'opportunist' than 'fun'

I was there for the Ronnie Moore era (and several other top scorers who couldn't hit a barn door once here) and he was actually a bit of a cult hero by the time those shirts came out. Watters is not at that point...yet!

All for a 'joke' and a bit of 'banter' but I'd find anyone wearing one of these tonight to be less than 'supportive' of either club or player at a time where we need to be encouraging in a positive way...
