If you grow it like I do - chop it straight off the plant and onto the Barby - sweetcorn steams in the inner leaves as the outer leaves burn off. Superb!

Yeah I used to eat it out of the can but I once had a worm maggot looking thing in it which has totally put me off it in a can. I sent the "bug" to the jolly green giant and they claimed it was a farm bug that wouldnt harm anyone and could have been ateI thought no ta.....to say sorry they sent me a voucher for 5 cans of sweetcorn
