Best place for parking on matchdays?

Is anyone able to help me with their best suggestion for parking, 10/15 minute walk from the stadium?

I normally get the train in on matchdays but I am planning on driving in tomorrow for the first time, fed up of waiting late at night for a train back, was thinking of trying to get in early and hopefully get lucky to find a space on either Sloper road or Hadfield road, if not last resort is just paying the fee to park in the stadium.

Anyone know of anywhere else I can park without the risk of getting a ticket? Or should I just avoid the hassle and pay for a space somewhere?

If you are early enough the Sloper Road end of Bessemer Road is usually a good place to park, the closer to the junction the better. And then walk along Sloper Road to the game its about 5mins max.
If all the spaces are gone then try Virgil Street, one side of the road is residents permits only but you can sometimes find spaces on the side nearest the park.
Failing that I park in one of the streets by the Cornwall Pub and again this is a 10-15min walk max. I have never failed to find a spot around there.

There’s a free car park (after 630) opposite coop on cow ridge rd west.

I recently discovered the car park opposite the Co-Op and its cheap during the day for Sat matches and free in the evenings. Short walk to the ground or Canton if your going for a drink or something to eat first.
