To those slating sawyers

You don’t understand or know football enough. If you can not see what RS does to this team you are pit if your depth. That Birmingham game which was probably the best team performance put in by a city team for a good few years was due to his instrumental presence in midfield. I bet there are some who actually think Ralls is better! Ralls is holding us back and one of the reasons we are not 2 points better off IMO

I agree re your comments on RS pulling all the strings v Birmingham and I also feel that Rhinomota was his perfect foil in that game. Ralls seems a few yards off the pace in mind and body atm imo. Sawyers, Rhinomota and Wintle without doubt should be our starting midfield.

Sawyers needed to come off against Preston around 60-70 minute mark. He wasn’t getting as involved in the game. Whyte should have had at least 20 minutes.

Don't think I've actually seen anybody really slating sawyers. I did say in another thread out of all the new signings he was probably the one I expected the most from. Hence the disappointment. And I do believe colwill could pull the strings in that position.
As for ralls, I really like the guy and his commitment but unfortunately he looks out of his depth in our new midfield, I'm hoping it's because he's not 100 percent fit.
Does that mean I don't have a clue about football :-)

I can see both sides or the argument. Morison has already said he’s a footballing nerd, there’s no doubt that technically he is brilliant and will no doubt go into coaching/management once his playing days are done. I don’t think I’d go as far as saying I’m disappointed with him so far, he won us the game against Norwich and very nearly played a big part in what would have been the winning goal on Sat against Preston (Ralls shot). I just personally feel like he’s either carrying a knock or whether numerous knocks have caught up with his body. When he goes to ground he’s always protective about his leg or knee and doesn’t seem like he gets around the pitch pain free.

Just observations that I’ve made but I’m glad we’ve signed him as he can bring a lot of experience and know how to us on and off the pitch.

Thought Ralls had a good game, seems to be into the new way City play alot better then his sub appearances.

I like RS talks alot to the team as well, couple mis placed passes didnt let his head drop
