New arrival Niels Nkounkou is involved in the matchday squad, but is among the subsitutes, meaning Callum O'Dowda slots in at left-back.
Rubin Colwill's cameo off the bench is deemed good enough to land him a starting berth, his first start of the season, while Joe Ralls and Jaden Philogene are also back in the starting line-up.

Interesting and encouraging I think. I've wanted Colwill to start and as Preston appear to defend well, his creativity may unlock a tight defence. I'm also hoping we see what Gavin Whyte can do today, really pleased he's on the bench as he deserves it.
