Kieron Etete set for 3 months out following injury - huge blow for Cardiff

Got injured earlier in the week against Sheffield United U21’s on Tuesday.

Not really but struggling to see how got injured unless it was done when he got off the subs bench? Certainly dodnt do it on the field..

He played for the U21’s in the week, he left the game on crutches.

Off in first half . No brainer He’s injured. Hence my question on pitch v training and matches . Another first half long term injury.

Is the rugby coach fuvking the players up?

He should have been working on his fitness perhaps rather than playing for the U21's on a crappy pitch somewhere

You could not make this up at our club - with our luck .As I said we need a striker in the last few weeks to make up the squad

For me, Etete is less ready for Championship football then the aforementioned.

He may well have talent and develop, but we needed someone who could help us right now!

Agreed with someone at the time we should have bought him and sent him down a league 1.to learn his trade and 2. To get fit !!!

That may well have happened if we’d got a new striker (or 2) in…and he hadn’t got injured

In way it could be blessing in disguise now perhaps morison will play watters with Harris instead of Harris and etete? And we think watters cant score mcburnie scored his 1st goal in 49 games last night for sheff u..

hasnt played enough to make a proper impression as of yet, but from what little glimpses we have seen, his movement was poor and he always looked exhausted after about 5 minutes

I dont see it as a massive loss although we have no options upfront

We dont have any goals in Watters/Harris - This is the real concearn

I still think Max just needs one to go in even if it's off his arse as he trying too hard now with more pressure every game.

Yes Morison said in his post match interview that he rolled his ankle mid week. Should be a couple of weeks he also said.
