Steve Morison: “We are very choosy in who we want”

Being choosy?

We’re very choosy over what we want. It would be stupid not to. But there’s only a select list to choose from. Even in that list, we see all your stuff that you put out and it interests me because when it’s put out it feels like we’re not looking at those players, but we are. And they’re not available. So we need to stop talking about them. That’s just the reality.

If someone does become available, it might be at the end of all this. At the moment, anyone who’s been mentioned or spoken about just isn’t available. Or even to us.

You mean choosy or cheap. Brought in a load of very good players but still the object of the game is to score goals. 1with so many players out of contract why is Morison being so fussy if he leaves it much longer it will be to late. Or is he hoping that the strikers we have suddenly out of the blue start scoring and save the club money a thing that seems a problem with the club. Let's hope something happens soon.

Could be both but it could also be that the players didn't want to come here when were in for them. When are people going to get the idea that we are not most players first choice of destination rather than blaming the club for being cheap when we have no idea of the real reason it's proving so difficult ? It's not like playing FM on your playstation.

I think he is trying to have a certain personality at the club and not having journey men picking up a wage for the sake of it. Fair enough. We shifted loads of those last season and some still dont have clubs. However, he is running a very risky game if he does not get someone in before the window shuts. The next five games will show the direction the team are heading this season. If we remain toothless up front we can quickly get drawn in to a relegation fight. Morison may need to sacrifice some of his principles with his striker search, he needs to get this right. I dont think he has a great deal of saved up goodwill either despite keeping the team up last year.

Well mate, just like last season his players never turned against Bristol City?
I thought we were going to see heart, desire and up for it on the big games?

Never had a play station I belive in reality not playing games. As we are not taking older players bet Ronaldo pleaded about that as he's only 37. Seems SM doesent won't any player near his age who might not be frightened to put their case forward.

As it stands we are a bit light up front - unless the players we have all of a sudden get some luck - which seems unlikely. I'd rather have Callum Paterson come back and go up front - at least he actually managed to put the ball in the net
