‘ JORDON HUGILL ‘

Sat Aug 20, 2022 12:52 pm

We have been talking to him and it's possible he could be a late addition, but there are two deals out there and it really depends how they go

PS,
Left back on his way in!

It gets ‘edge of the seat’ stuff though if we’re still waiting on the other 2 and Hugill says he wants to come. All will be revealed pretty soon I guess. :bluescarf:

There have been conversations with Hugill, but I think that City are waiting on those two deals to see how they pan out.
Been told they are two strikers, as Morison says the recruiting staff are working flat out. There are a lot of irons in the fire.
Not been told whether players coming in are loans or buy.

That will annoy the Derby fans. We're beside themselves when Palace mugged them off and took him when they were in trouble.

Said yesterday bring Codey home he’s that good he could play any side even up front. Our player of the year and his commitment for a loan player was unbelievable.

Plange would be a great signing

A young forward would be great. But we already have one of those. We need someone that we know can go up top. Put in a shift. Score and doesn’t need to adapt to anything. Hugill does all that and has already worked with the manager who knows his strengths. No brainier for me if he’s available

Loaned him back to Derby last season - Now he is free to go somewhere else if Palace decide to loan him out .

These strikers can't join quick enough. I'm pleased that a LB maybe coming in as we are exposed there again, as we saw today. Drameh was on the bench for Leeds today but didn't play, I know he's right sides but I'd love to see him back here, can't see it happening though.

Apparently Everton have made enquiries about Pukki according to Norwich fans, this may have an impact on our discussions with Hughill as they will need cover if anything happens there.

Agree. He was only brought on at the 86th min v Millwall. Norwich fans saying if he does go it will end their promotion ambition. Can't see it happening personally but you never know.

No he said “32, 33 or 34 year olds” big difference.

You could give Hugill a 3 year contract at 30 and get a good 3 years out of him, a 32,33 or 34 year old would be ancient and past it by the time their contract finished.

He’s only turned 30 two months ago too. The wonders of Wikipedia :bluescarf:
