Think I read they limited to 2000 because they felt having 4000 away fans was putting them at a disadvantage when they only getting 10-12000 home fans. Reading is easily accessible for London, Midland and clubs in the west so lots were taking large support.
Don't agree and think the club would want the extra revenue.

Thats probably true mind, 4,000 would have been like a Cardiff home game, as away fans are much louder anyway.
