This season will be a good one!

After the initial disappointment of yesterday’s result, got a clearer head this morning to discuss it.

Still think we will do well this season, and we will get stronger as the season goes on. Although we had a disappointing 2nd half, the first half was fairly positive. Lots of good football.

Nelson has screwed his chance and should be no where near this 11. Denham should be given his opportunity against Portsmouth now Tuesday night.

This team will get better and better as the season goes on, and they continue to gel.

Still think we will finish inside the top 10.
One little hiccup, onwards and upwards!

I am not disappointed we have a hard-working championship side with a championship midfield and defence, unlike last season.
Ojo and O'Dowda do more than their fair share of defensive duties so IMO are closer to midfielders than forwards, that leave us very light up front with only two lads whose future lay in L1 or 2.

Obviously, SM is playing with his preferred combinations but it's not really a 433, as the personnel indicates it's really a 4141 which was very close to Malkys squeeze the life out of the game but he had Whitts as the 1, and nor Wintle.

Colwell doesn't have a defensive intent in his body and that may grate SM but it's all about whether we want not to lose and nick one more than the opposition or go for it and i have not seen the Villa kid

We have options that we didn't have last season to change the intent and i think SM is trying to build a solid foundation of points and performance before unleashing the more attacking players.
