Whichever way you look at it, the majority of fans have got what they asked for this summer.

They wanted a raft of signings, ones which signal a changing of the guard, and they got just that. Like it or not, a summer like this, with transfer deals being announced left, right and centre, is riveting for football fans. If you're not enthused by them, then let's face it, what's the point?!

There was increased social media activity, more regular videos and interviews in pre-season and fans, generally, appear to feel far more engaged with it all.

Many have yearned for a change of footballing philosophy and they appear to have got just that. They also wanted Joe Ralls to re-sign, tick, and a snazzy new New Balance kit, tick (well, for the large majority, anyway!).

Yes, of course, fans want another striker or two in the building. That is being worked on behind the scenes. But, all things considered, their wishes have been granted this summer. With so much change, it is hoped that will afford the club time to get it right and supporters' patience will stretch a little longer if things don't click immediately on the pitch.

I don’t think the members on this forum realise, where 99% of the stuff comes from, he is Dalmans PA.

It’s actually getting pathetic now, it’s been put out just before Dalman goes on air.

It’s to cover themselves if things go wrong , by saying the majority wanted everything that’s happened etc etc

It's a strange one. I speak to people in public and see the excitement on Twitter, then come on here, and it's doom and gloom. I always find it interesting to see how people's opinions differ so drastically.

I for one, anyway, am happy with the pre-season we have had and excited for the season. The club has my backing and full support Hopefully, we can add a striker too!

If it’s true that the majority of fans are happy and got what they want then it really will be a bumper crowd this Saturday, 22,000 -25,000.

For me that will set the season and give our team fantastic support.

I think all the players signed were wanted by their existing clubs or in demand by other clubs. Just because they were out of contract does not mean they are rejects. Bamba, Hoilet and Etheridge were all out of contract. They turned out alright.

You might be right about the strikers though! Hoping the team better suits watters play. He's looked sharp in preseason albeit against lower opposition.

We shouldn't be arguing, no more blue on blue, the season is about to start lets get behind Morison and the team
