League 1 club Ipswich are set to confirm the £900,000 signing of Leeds defender Leif Davis.

Annis, they'd better be careful or they might 'do a Derby' as they've spent a transfer fee, and the normal signing on fee!

Ipswich have clearly seen the need to outlay a nominal amount on the basis they cannot fill that area with a free transfer.

i believe they just recieved a tidy little sum off the transfer of flynn downes to WHU.

We got better defenders than him on a free transfer so didn't pay a penny for them.. :laughing6: :laughing6:

Like we got a tidy fee for Moore? Hmmm. Am sure Moores wages covered thw portion of wages we had to shell put for our loan signings back tbwn. So what about the £4M

A previous regimes manager walks into Mcdonald's and orders a big mac, the server says thats £4 please the manager says here's a tenner, its not my money

The current regimes manager walks into the same Maccies and says to the server, A big mac please and here's a voucher for a free big Mac
