JUST A QUESTION HAVE MAN CITY COME OUT OF THIS

Thu Sep 23, 2010 12:16 pm

ON TOP, As they would off Def known about Bells injury as he was not training with them before he came here due to this injury.
They now save approx £23,000 a week and if he did well then his Value would still stay high.

I wanted Bells as much as anyone else, But I am starting believe weve been had.
I Dont blame Bellamy one bit, he wanted to come home and if a deal is done and he doesnt loose out, you cant blame him, I would do the same.
Bells should never of even started the season.

A Question to everyone
Have We been Done again ?

Only time will tell in my opinion .

Annis, I think your last sentence sums it up.... Bellers should simply have not started when he did.

But hey, I didn't see any of us screaming from the rooftops when he did, played well and scored THAT goal....and I can't really blame the club for using his arrival to their benefit. Can you imagine what would have happened if 25000 people had turned up in their "Bellam 39" shirts (no y's remember!) and the announcer says: "Sorry boys and girls, but Craig can't come out to play today...."

The fitness guy looking after him seems to think he'll be fine once they undo the shit job Mancini City did on him. Fingers crossed, eh??

Thanks Annis then that's great news! And my answer to your question is a big fat NO then. As looking it the type of exercises that he has given Craig he is now working on his fitness, and not working on a injury. :ayatollah:

The types of exercises that Craig has now got are High Intensity and are in the last cycles of Periodization programme, so I would say he is not far off :ayatollah:

Annis I think over the season we are still the clear winners here.

Any doubts I had went when I read our Dutch friend's twitter (which is 100% genuine BTW). That is a rare insight into how one of our players is getting on on the road to fitness. We should cherish it.

In fact I'm shocked the club has not insisted he take it down, what with all the cash riding on Bellamy actually playing, or that the journos haven't got hold of it.

Well, I'm not so shocked the journos haven't got hold of it. While likable guys, professionally questions need to be asked.

Again, good work by yourself and Lord Carl. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Back to Annis first question.

It is disappoibnting that Craig has been out of the last few games but I'm confident he will be back and wanting to prove himself amongst us Cardiff fans. When Fowler came he played the political game and took us all for a ride. We all know Bellers speaks his mind and had made it very clear that his only worry about coming to Cardiff is letting the fans down. He wants it to work as much as we do.

I'm all for giving Craig more time to get back to normal fitness but what a bugger for all the other entrants to get injured at the same time. Time will tell us if Craig has been a good move for us, that goes for most things, however I'm confident it will be. :ayatollah:

Yeah I agree with Baked. At the moment its very frustrating but I dont think Man City would have had that intention for the sake of 20k a week, which is pennies to them. I think its just a case of Mancini highly disliking him

I still have faith this will come good, and remember great things come to those who wait :ayatollah:

The 4-5-1 IMO is bascially set up for Bellamy so will be good to have him back soon :ayatollah:

I was thinking this myself.

Because of injuries, most crucially to Olofinjana as well as Bellamy, we have been left with what is basically last season's team with Naylor and Keogh replacing Kennedy and Chops.

Now, we didn't do too badly last season with these players by playing a 4-4-2, even if we fell at the final hurdle. Therefore, doesn't it make sense to play 4-4-2 while Olly and Bellers are out? Rather than trying to fit our old players to a new system.

Defo not annis i think your way off the mark.23k a week is f all to man city

We could do with this guy full time down the Vale with the injuries we have had over the last 2 weeks :old:

Re: JUST A QUESTION HAVE MAN CITY COME OUT OF THIS

Thu Sep 23, 2010 3:52 pm

definately not, Bellamy will be ready in 2 weeks, he came as he wante to and man city dint want to keep him.

ticket sales, shirt sales and the buzz around the city has made it worthwhile,

its just the doubters who always look for an angle when things are going simple that is making anything of it.

perhaps this question can be asked again at the end of the season.

no annis we ain't been done again, we are all frustrated at the moment with craig's injury but we shouldn't forget we have managed to sign a world class player, in my opinion one of the top 5 players in the premier league last season he would get into any team in the premiership and he wants to play for us , i've still got to pinch myself to believe it, once he's back he will be on fire he'll tear the championship apart keep the faith :ayatollah:

Fact he had offers off 8 prem clubs most turned down by him Spurs were prepared to pay ALL HIS WAGES but man city refused them due to rivals champions league etc. About his wage work out how much he puts on gate/merchandise no maths expert needed it's a self funding deal!! :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Bellars said his knee never felt stronger when he signed for us. He will come good thats for sure. Did we make a mistake ? NO look at the feel good factor and ticket sales since he came !! :ayatollah:

This guy really doesn't like Mancini's training techniques does he?! Maybe he pushed Craig to hard last season, causing the injury to flair up, but kept pushing. Maybe thats when they fell out?

Thankfully, an explosive player like Craig Bellamy was able to escape this training regime to save his career. He's almost ready to play!

I really feel sorry for Man City players. They are having a difficult time. Hopefully none of them will suffer a career threatening injury.

Just read an article about the enormous amount of injuries at Manchester City. Hopefully Mancini will finally question his training methods
