I can see what you say regarding dodgy, with a few bad decisions. But McGuinness is by far the worst ball playing defender we have in our squad currently. And he has a calamitous moment nearly every game.

He usually has more than one of those moments.

McGuinnes and Nelson will be moved on when we can find replacements they don't suit this style at all. Denham is ahead of both imo.

Kipre has a mistake in him but most centre half's do. It's clear Morison wants to build out from the back so don't be surprised to see us concede from it.

There are going to be the odd mistake when playing this system, particularly at the beginning but McGuiness made mistakes regularly when we were t playing this system.

think Kipre is just setlting down, he needs to get used to his cb partner and then will probably come good,

one thing i will say that made me chuckle was when he signed he said i like defending 1v1's and i thought if it comes to that, it means we've lost the ball, shape and are in trouble

Definitely. Him and Nelson are not comfortable with the ball and look to get rid as soon as they have it.

I'm not complaining I much prefer this style but it does come with risk, even the likes of Man City get caught out playing it and I have no doubt we'll get caught out again sometimes during the season.

We just have to hope it doesn't cost us a match. It didn't matter today we gave them 2 goals but the game was done.

I was joking about mcguinnes tbh but he just looks a bit dodgy a bit slow to react looked lethargic to me maybe that's how he plays but if I'm honest I'm a it worried

Ok mate. Fair enough
I’m sure he’ll be ok.

I hope he will be ok,I don't intentionally want to them too be bad, I'm just stating what I saw if you have seen different then that's an opinion they can't all be the same

A slight deviation on our defensive frailties. Does anyone think O'dowda can complement Wattsrs pace... It worked wonderfully well fot the opening goal. If our midfield are switched on to waters runs, I think there will be loads of goals for Him... Put him in the Man City team and he would be World class.. (joke about him in a man City team) just thought our midfield of Rhino,, o dowda and sawyers looked good in the first half. Where it not to say we need a Striker. I'd get rid of Harris before Watters

All centre halves will have a mistake in them. How many did NG make last season? I think Kipre has looked okay so far. He will still be settling in but what a breathe of fresh air it is to see us playing the ball out from the back instead of Flint aimlessly hoofing it up to no one.

Impressed with Collins today. Still think RB is a dodgy area but we have enough cover there. Midfield and wings looking really healthy. We still haven’t seen Colwill or Davies in pre season yet either.

Thought Watters played well today, great finish and played a big part in the beautiful third from Wintle. We definitely need another striker but if we go in with Watters then so be it, I think he’s definitely earned his start v Norwich. Will take a draw quite happily to get a point on the board.

I suppose we need to make a proper decision 4-5 games in as today it could have been the poor opposition that (in my eyes) made him look comfortable or the ‘foot off the pedal’ at times that made him and others look as if they were struggling at times.
All opinions though as you say.

Thought he was excellent today me?

Re: Kipre

He's better than the rest of them, so find this a bit of a strange post.

Of course like everyone else he has a mistake in him, if he didn't then he'd be at a higher level.

But he's an excellent passer. Can't underestimate how important that is for us this season.

Can see him and Ng starting at CB next week. In fact it'll probably be the same starting eleven as today.

If Kipre was without mistakes then he’d still be at WBA. Also pace is not one of his attributes unfortunately
