I remember watching Graham Coldrick playing right back for City. I don’t recall how many games he played for us ,(should have looked on Wiki), but we had a decent team at the time. Surely City have said something as well?
Sympathies to his family.

RIP Graham Coldrick, who died this week, played right back in Cardiff City's momentous 1-0 win over Moscow Torpedo in West Germany - a European Cup Winner's Cup Quarter-final play-off during March 1968. The match was played in bitter cold and snow blizzards. Crowd was 35,000.

Moscow were one of the finest club sides in Europe. Right up there with the elite at the time. It was right up there with one of the Bluebirds' finest European nights - three years before City beat Real Madrid 1-0 at Ninian Park.

I remember the two of them scoring in a Welsh Cup match against Hereford. One of the first games i went to probably. I can still remember the score 6-3 to City. It was apparently the first time two full backs has scored for us in the same game.
