Anyone remember Mackay’s 2nd season ? Lost 4-2 at Bristol City then signed a load of players in last week of the window and went up as Champions.

Better to wait for quality than just sign players now to fill a position in my opinion. The time to panic is the last day of the transfer window.

I agree. I’m pretty sure that SM has his targets snd may have even had verbal agreement. Just a patient game to get who you want.

I get that some of our younger supporters think it's as easy as clicking a few buttons on football manager or whatever they have now but some of the older heads on here who have been around a looooooooooooooooooooooooong time should know it's not that easy to get a striker never mind 2 or 3. If we have to wait for other teams to decide who they're sending out on loan then we need to have a little patience, and yes I know it's in very short supply on the interwebs.

It looks like we will be going with what we got what a shame after all morrisons hard work we end up where we where,
starting the season with 2 strikers who are well below what we need
and could start on a loosing streak
unless watters and harris find there mojos who we know are just not going to it could be what we feared the money clubs will dominate again this season and the rest making up the fixtures .

It's a priority I think Morison is turning down whats available and waiting for the Premier and rest of the World loan market to fully open up, when they know what they will have, we can get a few strikers

Better to go with what we have for now and add better quality within the month!

I would imagine (hope) that Morison as a few irons in the fire .
Somebody said on here that a striker as been agreed etc. So hopefully its a matter of waiting till the EPL, European teams are back from their tours.
Which should be this coming week .
I hope there is at least one in before Norwich .
