" FAIR PLAY TO GLENN LOOVENS "

Thu Sep 23, 2010 7:38 am

City made an Audacious Bid to Sign Loovens on a Season long lone, At the time, He did not figure in their plans anymore,They signed a number of new players. City went to them on 2 different occasions asking for him, they said yes, He said, I want to stay and fight for My place. Fair play to the lad, he has now played 8 out of 10 of their games :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

To be honest I think he would off been Excellent for us.

Yeah He's done well to get back in the team, but did he turn us down to fight for his place, or did he stay because he was too embarassed to come back after his sausage hiding exploits, when he was here last time! :)

I watched a bit of Celtic's game against Kilmarnock on Sky or Espn last weekend and he probably should have been sent off early doors, for a stupid tackle !

He got beat quite easily for Kilmarnock's goal and seeemed to struggle in a first half onslaught, although Celtic equalised with a penalty late in that half and went on to win 2-1!

He would certainly be better than Hudson though and could have made a decent pairing with Gyepes or Riggott!

Alot of Sellick fans don't rate him, but Neil Lennon must.
