STEVE MORISON:

"It was a different challenge, playing against a different shape, and ultimately we got the job done."

“We are getting in the winning habit, We’ve got that winning habit and that’s what matters.”

“The 600 Cardiff fans that came out today, I would like to think that they are here and what to be part of the change at the club.”

“I’ve got the players fitter than ever and everyone has bonded.”

“It was baking hot out their and the pitch was dry for us, but that did not matter.”

Posters on here said that results don’t matter in pre-season? Well it matters to our manager Morison and he’s not mentioning we need strikers and we not playing that great against teams from the lower leagues. So results do matter

He also said we need a couple more players and we will get them which was good to hear

Keep on keeping on about “ dry” pitches! It’s same for all teams! Get a tactic take advantage as opposed keeping moaning! No god given right to a “ wet” slick pitch! Grow up! Diversity on condition is key! I’d dry out my pitch and train accordingly.. if I faced us ! I’d win !

I just cannot seem to accept him at moment, no idea why, shows little enthusiasm on the side line, almost statue like. :bluebird:

Some pathetic replies on here.

Worked very well this window so far doing all he can working with no money at all

A young manager trying to implement his own style of play something fans have asked for years and people are still moaning.

Yes he is a bit stubborn at times that is obviously his personality. People need to get behind him and support him

Know its not your comment Annis but the fella who posted this needs to learn to read.

Morison literally says the dry conditions were not ideal for us (as in the way we are trying to play the game) but it did not matter as we ground out the result.

He is literally saying we have a preferred way of playing but can adapt. Exactly, what the chap on Twatter is saying we should be doing.

Personally, I'm very excited about this season.

At one point Pep was also an arrogant young manager who believed in his own ability. Then he backed up his belief in his own ability by winning multiple top tier trophies.

And he did it all with nothing but belief, talent and a budget of hundreds of millions.

One day I'd love to see one of these 'great' managers having won x amount of champions leagues prove themselves with zero budget at somewhere like Scunthorpe.
