Seems to be a strong correlation between recent seasons in the Premier League and number of followers. The exposure from having Man Utd and Liverpool’s twitter pages tagging your club in pre and post match media plus live text updates during the match can’t be understated.

I think some fans may be rather deluded when referring us as a massive club. We are not of course, unlike Man Utd and Liverpool for instance.

We are a fair to middling club, our current status as a Championship club being about right. Clubs such as Brighton, Palace etc are currently punching above their weight but I would bracket them with us.
