If true, another good signing. Bit of experience to the defence, is quite mobile and comfortable bringing the ball out from the back too.

All we need then, a couple of strikers and we are good to go! What a Summer this is turning out to be, and showing Morison has an eye for a player and good deal.

All over the WBA forums too, they seem to think it’s us.

Free agents are indeed not wanted by their current clubs, but a new lease of life spotted by our regime may be a good thing.

Same goes for kids let go by academies not all make it at one club but do at another ..... if these things didn't happen transfers wont happen.....

I read on a WBA forum that they bought him without really needing him and Brucie prefers the type of CBs we're getting rid of. I think he's got a great chance here and will fit in nicely with what the gaffers is trying to do. Be pleased if this comes off.

Spot on. This might work or it might not but isn’t it refreshing to see a manager knowing exactly the way he wants to play and filling the squad with players who can do that ?

No doubt all the contracts coming to an end has helped him but I have the feeling that Morison would have made it happen anyway !!

I really hope it works out for him and us !!

Unless we have him for a year and then say 'No thanks' if the price isn't right!

The fee would be agreed before the loan deal and if we do agree then its probably because the fee will be buttons.He's got 3 yrs left on his deal with WBA I think so getting off their books may be more important than a fee.

Andrew I said in an earlier post do not be surprised if it is a permenant deal.
He was bought from Wigan in a fire sale so they did not pay much for him and Bruce does not play the way we want to play.
so he is not wanted at wba.
Something Bruce said when talking about him, he said,
" He will not be here for at least a season" makes me think it is going to be permenant whether a loan first then a purchase or a straight buy, which I think is the more likely deal, as he is only 25. I think this is what is taking the time, we are more astute nowadays long may it continue we will soon find out
