James crole excellent.

I've been watching his progress ,really impressed with him ,scoring at every level of the academy, I would get rid of Harris and watters and throw this guy in at the deep end .

Thought he looked good and dealt with the physicality of the game well. Would be open to giving him an opportunity. I like Watters, I think there is a player there given the right service around him.

To be fair to Watters today, did some decent link up play today in a tight area of the pitch. Harris has quite a few moments in games where he almost pulls it off, but either hesitates or doesn't quite get his angle right and its so frustrating. I think Harris could have a decent career, but he needs games and goals and I don't see that happening with us. He's being played as a winger and Tanner has already been the most impressive forward this preseason, Whyte looked decent when he comes on, and Callum O is still yet to play a game. I just think there are to many players in front of him at this age for it to be worth it for him to stay.

Agreed. Watters made some nice clever touches. Twice in the second half, he played in Whyte, but I think Whyte was a bit fresh and off the pace at that moment in the game, and wasn't able to capitalize. We also saw his quick one-touch pass for Bagans goal in the game vs Cambridge. Brilliant play.

As for Harris, I'm not sure there is a goalscorer in him. He could be a decent player to come off the bench for 10-15 minutes at this level for a lower half team but not for one aiming for the top half of the table or higher. If he wasn't from our academy, there'd be no chance he'd still be here. I'd love him to prove me wrong, but I just don't see it happening.

I just think watters just hadn't got it and never will for us, I just don't see Jim as championship standard we nedd bettef ,crole came on a set up one and scored one .he seems to be a more direct striker who knows where the net is ,he going to be a star for us in the future.

I think time will tell with Watters, you may be right but I have been impressed with his intelligence, touches and movement.

I haven't seen much of Crole, his record for the U23s and U18s has been good though, and he certainly impressed today and I would definitely be willing to see him given more opportunities with better players around him.

Crole scored was OK, wouldn't say he was excellent, but he did what the other two couldnt do and found the net with some aplomb.

Completely agree. I do think there is a player in Watters and would certainly keep him at the club at least until January.

Harris hasn’t progressed at all since he made his debut a while ago now. Time to let him move on.

Crole looks very raw but there’s something special about him and he knows where the goal is. He’s got to start somewhere so why not now. Thought Wigley looked good aswell. Composed performance from Colwill once again. Future is very promising.

Isn't it refreshing that we seem to have some good youngsters coming through tho .
