James Rowberry's League 2 club Newport County who will visit the Cardiff International Sports Stadium in Leckwith. They will likely boast a few former Bluebirds, with Joe Day, Aaron Wildig, James Waite and Sam Bowen in their ranks as well as Chanka Zimba, who is on loan there from Cardiff.
The fixture takes place at Leckwith due to ground staff currently working on the Cardiff City Stadium pitch for the new term. The two clubs initially agreed to play two sixty-minute games, however it has since been confirmed that it will now be only one 90-minute match.
