Away Tickets - Help

I have a club membership and want to purchase 2 tickets for the Swindon away friendly.
1 ticket is for myself which is a straight forward adult ticket that I can assign to my membership number.
The other ticket I want to take my boy whose 8 so need a child ticket. It won’t let me assign my membership number to the 2nd ticket.
Does anyone know how to get around this or does he need a junior membership? If not it’ll be a call to the ticket office
