Looks like he kicked ball away in celebration but obviously forgot to let ball go over the line? seen players kick it out goal in celebration but after ball crossed line... lucky the won game though..

I reckon he was looking to slam it into the side of the net making sure it went over the line.
The problem is he couldn't kick for shit with his right foot.
He desperately tried to claim it had already gone over the line after clearing it by mistake.

That's what it looked like but obviously made a complete balls up of what he was trying to do...
