Promotion to the Premier is the aim for Cardiff this season

Sun Jul 10, 2022 4:52 pm

Joel Bagan who is 21 years old in a few weeks and has played for the Bluebirds first team 33 times, scoring 3 goals has set his sights on Cardiff going up this season.

Joel Bagan: Promotion the aim

Cardiff City left-back Joel Bagan says the Bluebirds' are aiming to gain promotion to the Premier League this coming season.

JOEL BAGAN:

“The main [target] is to improve from last season,”

“I want to want to try and play more games than what I did last year, and hopefully win a few more games than we did.”

“That’s the main one, just being in the team, playing well, and hopefully, we can now look for promotion. That’s the main goal.”

“When I first came in, Neil Warnock was in charge, and I remember doing a few training sessions,” he added. “There wasn’t as many young boys playing first-team than there is now, but there was still a few boys training.”

“Then suddenly the squad was full of the younger players,we’ve now got experience behind us and I can’t see why we can’t be challenging for proper this season.”

“That gave me a platform and a way to where we I am now. I think there are a lot of young boys in Cardiff now who are my age or a year above me. It does make it easier to be around the first team when you’ve got the boys you’ve grown up with and done a scholarship with.”

He's hardly gonna say that we're aiming for mid table this season and good on him. Mind you, theres a few on here that'll use that statement to beat the club up with if were not world beaters September.

No one has had ago at the lad??
Only you.

He saying how he feels and his boss feels.

Have you not got anything positive to say?

No one beats the club up, the club is ours , regimes / dictators come and go, the club is ours.

Steve Morison and now one of our players are both feeling the same way , they believe we now have a squad / team that are exciting / going places / full of quality etc etc

We as fans must back them, No matter what our opinions / beliefs are, they are wearing the colours of Cardiff City, so I for one will be fully behind them and after 10-12 games we will see where we are going.
We did exactly the same last season had massive hype and we all got behind them at the beginning.

Get 2 decent strikers and a centre back in and I think we will be in the top 6 .

Love the confidence from him but despite a promising start to pre season, we are still well behind a few other clubs in the league. We’ve signed 10 players, is Luton’s business arguably better? Also the Wurzels have strengthened too. Kane Wilson will be a hell of a signing for them. They got him for free and we paid for Romeo.

Not having a go at all Annis which if you re-read the post you will see the opposite is true. I'm commending him for being so bold in fact. But I can't understand your objection to the second part of the post because there are those who try and find fault with any aspect of the club and try and push there own agenda. I'm always against these people and will continue to be so.This is my opinion and all opinions use to be welcomed here or has that chaqnged.

Which is their right.

But you do continually target my posts and yet I love my club, I am only talking about the pathetic regime who say they are running our club, so NO more twisting it.

It's a public forum....

If people don't like someone disagreeing with them, posting on a public forum probably isn't something they should be doing.

There are posters on here who look for the negative in absolutely everything and anything. If they are entitled to do that, people are entitled to challenge them. It goes both ways.

Everyone deserves a chance / not continually being sarcastic.

As you said, all opinions are welcomed, so why do you target people for having a a different opinion to yourself. Negative or positive, they’re all opinions and should be respected.

It's a public forum....

If people don't like someone disagreeing with them, posting on a public forum probably isn't something they should be doing.

There are posters on here who look for the negative in absolutely everything and anything. If they are entitled to do that, people are entitled to challenge them. It goes both ways.

I don’t care if someone disagrees with me. That’s what it’s all about. I was just pointing out Sneggy and his hypocrisy in his post.

I agree and that wasnt aimed at you. But posters on here state they are entitled to an opinion, which they are, and then cry because someone else has a different opinion to them. Are they not entitled to an opinion as well?

What has sneggy done that is hypocritical exactly? He has stated his opinion. He hasn't been disrespectful from what I've seen. And posters have agreed with him.

The part where he moans about Annis disagreeing with him and then asking whether all opinions are welcome here like it used to be but then he doesn’t welcome other peoples opinion. Something like that

I missed that bit. My original post never mentioned anyone by name. Thanks for taking an interest though but I'm sure Annis can speak for himself. ;)
