Joel Colwill could be even better than his brother Rubin.
I have been monitoring Joel for the last 18mths, I personally think he is the best player to come out of the Accademy in the last 12 years .

I’ve heard he’s a real prospect too. What position is he? Wide or centre mid?

Looked like the pit bull we’ve needed in midfield for years, probably since Medel. I know it was against league 1 opposition but he looked better than Ruben already. Shame he’s a centre mid and won’t get much game time this season.

I thought he has one of the best yesterday, really got stuck in for a youngster, didn't look out of place. Excellent passing and kept the game ticking over. Big future 18 in October I think.

I didn’t see anything from the game but judging by the comments it sounds as if Joel got what Rubin is missing. A bit of energy and desire and the willingness to bust a gut and get stuck in?

Isn't it nice to have both brothers ? With big futures ,hopefully it wont be long before they are playing first team football together . Also I've been told they have a younger brother, in the academy , who could turn out better than both his older brothers ?

I watched the game and when he came on was one of the best players on the pitch . Finally the academy producing good players .

Those two are gems. Can't believe we could have two brothers in the same team with their potential

Fingers crossed he can follow in his brothers footsteps. Rubin is a great talent, last season would've done him the world of good and also his continued involvement with the Welsh squad. Hopefully the exposure of with us and Wales will see him kick on again this season.
Would be lovely to see both brothers in a squad together this season.

A superb performance , 3 or 4 times the cambridge players pulled him back by the shirt as he broke away.
Did not shirk any tackles and always in the right place to recieve the ball.
Gobsmacked if he does not make his full debut this season.
