Striker issue

Thu Jul 07, 2022 9:03 pm

I can see us getting to a point where we will be forced to take a striker(s) that will be the only ones left on the table and neither the quality we need or give us, the fans, nothing to shout about.

We'll leave it to the last minute, get what we can and cross our fingers.

Two years ago, we went half a season without a recognised right back. We also went almost an entire season with only Moore as a recognised experienced striker.

Im afraid, whatever anyone says, strikers, good strikers, cost money.

Will we start with Harris and Watters? Use Colwill and Tanner as emergency fillers?

As each day goes by, it becomes more of a possibility. Imagine, a Regime running a club and not bringing in the strikers we need to compliment what looks like a half decent squad build.

Sign 2 good strikers and another winger we can finish top half

If we go in how we are now it’s another low end of the table finish
